I am not really a collector of anything but if I did it would almost certainly be of something from motorsport. Even more so if they had actually been used by famous drivers. So I was delighted to asked to shoot some items from a private collection for Race-Used.com

Race Used…

The guys at Race-Used come from a collecting background with over 15 years experience. They specialise in buying & selling rarefied collectables from the Automobilia and Motorsport Memorabilia world. Many of the items have been used in races by famous racing drivers.

Today’s shoot would include not only items used by F1 drivers but also body panels from the actual race cars. Over the years the collection had grown to include some fascinating items… some I have no doubt seen racing on track while I watched F1 on TV over the years!

Motorsport History in my hands…

It was quite a thrill to be around these fantastic F1 collectables, quite literally sometimes having motorsport history in my hands. Looking at their amazing archives on the Race-Used.com website it will be fantastic to shoot more over the coming months for them.
