Landscape Photography

I’m not a Landscape Photographer in the true sense of the word. Well I never set out to be that’s for sure… Motorsport was always my natural enviroment.

Going out with the sole aim of photographing a landscape was not something I did very often. However I do find myself forced to stop the car, get out and walk back to just stare at amazing scenery. If the camera kit just happens to be in the car, well it would be rude not to!!!

However, recent travel and ‘roadtrips’ have allowed this part of my photography to grow. I’m finding I am being drawn to the relaxation that comes from a good walk in beautiful scenery. The very process of setting up a tripod and framing a shot takes time. It slows me down, in stark contrast to the split second reactions to capture motorsport.
