Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club Annual Rally 2019
Back in 2017 I took some photos of beautiful Rolls-Royce Silver Ghosts about to take part in the RREC Round Britain Tour. I was really pleased when my name was put forward again to cover the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club Annual Rally 2019.
The beautiful grounds in front of Burghley House in Cambridgeshire made a lovely venue for the 3 day event. 2019 is special year as it is the centenary of the Bentley Motors. To celebrate this milestone over 300 Bentleys were due to attend on the Saturday. A few had camped overnight but as the morning went on more cars arrived made their way sedately down the driveways. It was clear to see the hours of loving care that went into these beautiful cars by their proud owners. They were quite simply stunning. Chrome glistened, paintwork gleamed & glass sparkled.
It was quite a sight to see the ever-growing display areas filling up with beautiful Rolls-Royce & Bentley cars of all ages. In the afternoon there was a parade of some Bentleys through the ages. Afternoon Tea was enjoyed in front of a live band, while others relaxed with a picnic. To finish our day a WW2 Hurricane performed a series of passes overhead.
I had a great time taking photos at my first Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club Annual Rally. I hope you enjoy looking through this collection of some of my favourite photos from this very special event. (Note – Parade car images are at very end of the collection)
