Another year has gone by, it was time for the Allens Charity Golf Day. I am always flattered to get a call from a previous client to come back and shoot another event for them. So it was a great pleasure to be invited back to shoot this year’s Golf Day Photography for them. Another return to the Hoebridge Golf Centre in Surrey, meant a great day was in store again too. Everybody seems to have fun at this event!!!
This year, Allens Total Perimeter Security had chosen to raise funds in aid of The MPS Society. The MPS Society provides professional support to children, adults and families affected by MPS and related Lysosomal Storage Diseases and funds research into treatment and therapies. These diseases are rare, genetic, life-limiting conditions. desperately needs.
9 holes in the morning followed by another 18 after lunch, make it a long busy day as a photographer. It is always so much fun shooting each player and their reactions to their shots throughout the day. The weather was kind to us again for 4th year in a row. As a result everybody was having a great day of golf and really got into the swing of things… (see what I did there!!). ‘Beat the Pro’ Nearest the Pin on the 12th raised much needed funds for the charity.
Some of the players are starting to recognise me and relax more now when a large lens is pointed at them. Consequently the banter on the golf course was flowing, it had me in stitches. So, if some shots are slightly blurred it’s all your own fault for making me laugh!! It was as ever a pleasure to spend the day with such terrific guests.
Thank you for asking me to be a part of it with you again!!
