Masters Historic Racing Test Day at Brands Hatch
It has felt a very long Winter, March marked the start of my motorsport season proper. The Masters Historic Racing Test Day at Brands Hatch was the long-awaited day to get in the Pit Lane & trackside again.
The weather was forecast had finally improved… gone was the snow & the rain, out came rather a pleasant Spring. A good selection of cars & crews had made the journey to the Kent circuit to shakedown for the coming season. The first round of the Masters Historic Racing series in Monza being only a few weeks away.
This year The Masters Historic Racing championships have added a new race series. We have Historic Formula One, Historic Sports Cars, Gentleman Drivers, Pre-66 Touring Cars & now Endurance Legends for the first time. There are going to be some truly awesome cars & fantastic race action this year for sure!
Driver/Sponsor Promotional shoot while I was there….
Part of my day was spent with racing driver Liam Sullivan & his team. I was there to take some Branding & Promotional photos for his sponsors Moto-Lita & Aviation Leathercraft. He will be competing this year in the Pre-66 Touring Cars driving a Mini Cooper S. Liam’s day sadly didn’t quite go to plan but I guess that’s what a Test Day is for, so it doesn’t happen on Race Day. You can read about the shoot & see more images by clicking here.
As ever I’m always looking for shots around the Pit Lane & Paddock. There are so many great images to be had at a racing circuit & not just on the track. Here are just a few & more can be seen by clicking on the link below.
